43.51.وَنَادَى فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِي أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

43.51 . And Pharaoh caused a proclamation to be made among his people saying : O my people! Is not mine the sovereignty of Egypt and these rivers flowing under me? Can ye not then discern?

43.51. Wanada firAAawnu fee qawmihi qala ya qawmi alaysa lee mulku misra wahathihi al-anharu tajree min tahtee afala tubsiroona

43.51. " Faraón dirigió una proclama a su pueblo, diciendo: ""¡Pueblo! ¿No es mío el dominio de Egipto, con estos ríos que fluyen a mis pies? ¿Es que no veis? "

43.52.أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ

43.52 . I am surely better than this fellow , who is despicable , and can hardly make ( his meaning ) plain!

43.52. Am ana khayrun min hatha allathee huwa maheenun wala yakadu yubeenu

43.52. ¿No soy yo mejor que éste, que es un vil y que apenas sabe expresarse?

43.53.فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاء مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ

43.53 . Why , then , have armlets of gold not been set upon him , or angels sent along with him?

43.53. Falawla olqiya AAalayhi aswiratun min thahabin aw jaa maAAahu almala-ikatu muqtarineena

43.53. " ¿Por qué no se le han puesto brazaletes de oro...? ¿Por qué no ha venido acompañado de ángeles...?"" "

43.54.فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْماً فَاسِقِينَ

43.54 . Thus he persuaded his people to make light ( of Moses ) , and they obeyed him . Lo! they were a wanton folk .

43.54. Faistakhaffa qawmahu faataAAoohu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena

43.54. Extravió a su pueblo y éste le obedeció: era un pueblo perverso.

43.55.فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

43.55 . So , when they angered Us , We punished them and drowned them every one .

43.55. Falamma asafoona intaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena

43.55. Cuando Nos hubieron irritados, Nos vengamos de ellos anegándolos a todos,
