43.46.وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

43.46 . And verily We sent Moses with Our revelations unto Pharaoh and his chiefs , and he said : I am a messenger of the Lord of the Worlds .

43.46. Walaqad arsalna moosa bi-ayatina ila firAAawna wamala-ihi faqala innee rasoolu rabbi alAAalameena

43.46. " Ya enviamos Moisés con Nuestros signos a Faraón y a sus dignatarios. Y dijo: ""Yo soy el enviado del Señor del universo"". "

43.47.فَلَمَّا جَاءهُم بِآيَاتِنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ

43.47 . But when he brought them Our tokens , behold! they laughed at them .

43.47. Falamma jaahum bi-ayatina itha hum minha yadhakoona

43.47. Pero cuando les presentó Nuestros signos, he aquí que se rieron de ellos,

43.48.وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا وَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

43.48 . And every token that We showed them was greater than its sister ( token ) , and we grasped them with the torment , that haply they might turn again .

43.48. Wama nureehim min ayatin illa hiya akbaru min okhtiha waakhathnahum bialAAathabi laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

43.48. a pesar de que cada signo que les mostrábamos superaba al precedente. Les sorprendimos con el castigo. Quizás, así, se convirtieran.

43.49.وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ

43.49 . And they said : O wizard ; Entreat thy Lord for us by the pact that He hath made with thee . Lo! we verily will walk aright .

43.49. Waqaloo ya ayyuha alsahiru odAAu lana rabbaka bima AAahida AAindaka innana lamuhtadoona

43.49. " Dijeron: ""¡Mago! ,Ruega a tu Señor por nosotros, en virtud de la alianza que ha concertado contigo! Nos dejaremos dirigir"". "

43.50.فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

43.50 . But when We eased them of the torment , behold! they broke their word .

43.50. Falamma kashafna AAanhumu alAAathaba itha hum yankuthoona

43.50. Pero, cuando retiramos de ellos el castigo, he aquí que quebrantaron su promesa.
