26.136.قَالُوا سَوَاء عَلَيْنَا أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِينَ

26.136 . They said : It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach ;

26.136. Qaloo sawaon AAalayna awaAAathta am lam takun mina alwaAAitheena

26.136. " Dijeron: ""¡Nos da lo mismo que nos amonestes o no! "

26.137.إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا خُلُقُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

26.137 . This is but a fable of the men of old ,

26.137. In hatha illa khuluqu al-awwaleena

26.137. No hacemos sino lo que acostumbraban a hacer los antiguos.

26.138.وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

26.138 . And we shall not be doomed .

26.138. Wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena

26.138. " ¡No se nos castigará!"" "

26.139.فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

26.139 . And they denied him ; therefor We destroyed them . Lo! herein is indeed a portent , yet most of them are not believers .

26.139. Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahum inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mu/mineena

26.139. Le desmintieron y les aniquilamos. Ciertamente, hay en ello un signo, pero la mayoría no creen.

26.140.وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ

26.140 . And lo! thy Lord , He is indeed the Mighty , the Merciful .

26.140. Wa-inna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu

26.140. En verdad, tu Señor es el Poderoso, el Misericordioso.
