43.31.وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ

43.31 . And they say : If only thin Quran had been revealed to some great man of the two towns?

43.31. Waqaloo lawla nuzzila hatha alqur-anu AAala rajulin mina alqaryatayni AAatheemun

43.31. " Y dijeron: ""¿Por qué no se ha revelado este Corán a un notable de una de las dos ciudades..."" "

43.32.أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضاً سُخْرِيّاً وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

43.32 . Is it they who apportion their Lord ' s mercy? We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world , and raised some of them above others in rank that some of them may take labor from others ; and the mercy of thy Lord is better than ( the wealth ) that they amass .

43.32. Ahum yaqsimoona rahmata rabbika nahnu qasamna baynahum maAAeeshatahum fee alhayati alddunya warafaAAna baAAdahum fawqa baAAdin darajatin liyattakhitha baAAduhum baAAdan sukhriyyan warahmatu rabbika khayrun mimma yajmaAAoona

43.32. ¿Son ellos los encargados de dispensar la misericordia de tu Señor? Nosotros les dispensamos las subsistencias en la vida de acá y elevamos la categoría de unos sobre otros para que éstos sirvieran a aquéllos. Pero la misericordia de tu Señor es mejor que lo que ellos amasan.

43.33.وَلَوْلَا أَن يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفاً مِّن فَضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ

43.33 . And were it not that mankind would have become one community , We might well have appointed , for those who disbelieve in the Beneficent , roofs of silver for their houses and stairs ( of silver ) whereby to mount ,

43.33. Walawla an yakoona alnnasu ommatan wahidatan lajaAAalna liman yakfuru bialrrahmani libuyootihim suqufan min fiddatin wamaAAarija AAalayha yathharoona

43.33. Si no hubiera sido por evitar que los hombres formaran una sola comunidad, habríamos puesto en las casas de los que no creen en el Compasivo terrazas de plata y gradas de acceso,

43.34.وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَاباً وَسُرُراً عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِؤُونَ

43.34 . And for their houses doors ( of silver ) and couches of silver whereon to recline ,

43.34. Walibuyootihim abwaban wasururan AAalayha yattaki-oona

43.34. puertas y lechos en que reclinarse.

43.35.وَزُخْرُفاً وَإِن كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

43.35 . And ornaments of gold . Yet all that would have been but a provision of the life of the world . And the Hereafter with your Lord would have been for those who keep from evil .

43.35. Wazukhrufan wa-in kullu thalika lamma mataAAu alhayati alddunya waal-akhiratu AAinda rabbika lilmuttaqeena

43.35. y lujo. Pero todo esto no es sino breve disfrute de la vida de acá en tanto que la otra vida, junto a tu Señor, será para los que Le temen.
