20.126.قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَى

20.126 . He will say : So ( it must be ) . Our revelations came unto thee but thou didst forget them . In like manner thou art forgotten this Day .

20.126. Qala kathalika atatka ayatuna fanaseetaha wakathalika alyawma tunsa

20.126. " Dirá: ""Igual que tú recibiste Nuestros signos y los olvidaste, así hoy eres olvidado"". "

20.127.وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَى

20.127 . Thus do We reward him who is prodigal and believeth not the revelations of his Lord ; and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be sterner and more lasting .

20.127. Wakathalika najzee man asrafa walam yu/min bi-ayati rabbihi walaAAathabu al-akhirati ashaddu waabqa

20.127. Así retribuiremos a quien haya cometido excesos y no haya creído en los signos de su Señor. Y el castigo de la otra vida será más cruel y más duradero.

20.128.أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي النُّهَى

20.128 . Is it not a guidance for them ( to know ) how many a generation We destroyed before them , amid whose dwellings they walk? Lo! therein verily are signs for men of thought .

20.128. Afalam yahdi lahum kam ahlakna qablahum mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna fee thalika laayatin li-olee alnnuha

20.128. ¿Es que no les dice nada que hayamos hecho perecer a tantas generaciones precedentes, cuyas viviendas huellan ellos ahora? Ciertamente, hay en ello signos para los dotados de entendimiento.

20.129.وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَاماً وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى

20.129 . And but for a decree that had already gone forth from thy Lord , and a term already fixed , the judgment would ( have ) been inevitable ( in this world ) .

20.129. Walawla kalimatun sabaqat min rabbika lakana lizaman waajalun musamman

20.129. Si no llega a ser por una palabra previa de tu Señor y no hubiera sido prefijado el plazo, habría sido ineludible.

20.130.فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا وَمِنْ آنَاء اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَى

20.130 . Therefor ( O Muhammad ) , bear with what they say , and celebrate the praises of thy Lord ere the rising of the sun and ere the going down thereof . And glorify Him some hours of the night and at the two ends of the day , that thou mayst find acceptance .

20.130. Faisbir AAala ma yaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAi alshshamsi waqabla ghuroobiha wamin ana-i allayli fasabbih waatrafa alnnahari laAAallaka tarda

20.130. ¡Ten paciencia, pues, con lo que dicen y celebra las alabanzas de tu Señor antes de la salida del sol y antes de su puesta! ¡Glorifícale durante las horas de la noche y en las horas extremas del día! Quizás, así, quedes satisfecho.
