74.31.وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيمَاناً وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلاً كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ

74.31 . We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the fire , and their number have We made to be a stumbling block for those who disbelieve ; that those to whom the scripture hath been given may have certainty , and that believers may increase in faith ; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt ; and that those in whose hearts there is disease , and disbelievers , may say : What meaneth Allah by this similitude? Thus Allah sendeth astray whom He will , and whom He will He guideth . None knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save Him . This is naught else than a Reminder unto mortals .

74.31. Wama jaAAalna as-haba alnnari illa mala-ikatan wama jaAAalna AAiddatahum illa fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo liyastayqina allatheena ootoo alkitaba wayazdada allatheena amanoo eemanan wala yartaba allatheena ootoo alkitaba waalmu/minoona waliyaqoola allatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalkafiroona matha arada Allahu bihatha mathalan kathalika yudillu Allahu man yashao wayahdee man yashao wama yaAAlamu junooda rabbika illa huwa wama hiya illa thikra lilbashari

74.31. " No hemos puesto sino a ángeles como guardianes del Fuego y no los hemos puesto en ese número sino para tentar a los infieles, para que los que han recibido la Escritura crean firmemente, para que los creyentes se fortifiquen en su fe, para que no duden ni los que han recibido la Escritura ni los creyentes, para que los enfermos de corazón y los infieles digan: ""¿Qué es lo que se propone Alá con esta parábola?"" Así es como Alá extravía a quien Él quiere y dirige a quien Él quiere. Nadie sino Él conoce las legiones de tu Señor. No es sino una amonestación dirigida a los mortales. "

74.32.كَلَّا وَالْقَمَرِ

74.32 . Nay , by the Moon

74.32. Kalla waalqamari

74.32. ¡No! ¡Por la luna!

74.33.وَاللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ

74.33 . And the night when it withdraweth

74.33. Waallayli ith adbara

74.33. ¡Por la noche cuando declina!

74.34.وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا أَسْفَرَ

74.34 . And the dawn when it shineth forth .

74.34. Waalssubhi itha asfara

74.34. ¡Por la mañana cuando apunta!

74.35.إِنَّهَا لَإِحْدَى الْكُبَرِ

74.35 . Lo! this is one of the greatest ( portents )
