43.21.أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَاباً مِّن قَبْلِهِ فَهُم بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ

43.21 . Or have We given them any Scripture before ( this Quran ) so that they are holding fast thereto?

43.21. Am ataynahum kitaban min qablihi fahum bihi mustamsikoona

43.21. ¿Es que les trajimos otra Escritura a la que atenerse antes de ésta?

43.22.بَلْ قَالُوا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءنَا عَلَى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِم مُّهْتَدُونَ

43.22 . Nay , for they say only : Lo! we found our fathers following a religion , and we are guided by their footprints .

43.22. Bal qaloo inna wajadna abaana AAala ommatin wa-inna AAala atharihim muhtadoona

43.22. " ¡Nada de eso! Dicen: ""Encontramos a nuestros padres en una religión y, siguiendo sus huellas, estamos bien dirigidos"". "

43.23.وَكَذَلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءنَا عَلَى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ

43.23 . And even so We sent not a warner before thee ( Muhammad ) into any township but its luxurious ones said : Lo! we found our fathers following a religion , and we are following their footprints .

43.23. Wakathalika ma arsalna min qablika fee qaryatin min natheerin illa qala mutrafooha inna wajadna abaana AAala ommatin wa-inna AAala atharihim muqtadoona

43.23. " Y así, no enviamos ningún monitor antes de ti a una ciudad que no dijeran los ricos: ""Encontramos a nuestros padres en una religión e imitamos su ejemplo"". "

43.24.قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُم بِأَهْدَى مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمْ عَلَيْهِ آبَاءكُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ كَافِرُونَ

43.24 . ( And the warner ) said : What! Even though I bring you better guidance than that ye found your fathers following? They answered : Lo! in what ye bring we are disbelievers .

43.24. Qala awa law ji/tukum bi-ahda mimma wajadtum AAalayhi abaakum qaloo inna bima orsiltum bihi kafiroona

43.24. " Dijo: ""¿Y si os trajera una dirección más recta que la que vuestros padres seguían?"" Dijeron: ""¡No creemos en vuestro mensaje!"" "

43.25.فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ

43.25 . So We requited them . Then see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters!

43.25. Faintaqamna minhum faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena

43.25. Nos vengamos de ellos. ¡Y mira cómo terminaron los desmentidores!
