2.126.وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـَذَا بَلَداً آمِناً وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلاً ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

2.126 . And when Abraham prayed : My Lord! Make this a region of security and bestow upon its people fruits , such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day , He answered : As for him who disbelieveth , I shall leave him in contentment for a while , then I shall compel him to the doom of fire a hapless journey ' s end!

2.126. Wa-ith qala ibraheemu rabbi ijAAal hatha baladan aminan waorzuq ahlahu mina alththamarati man amana minhum biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri qala waman kafara faomattiAAuhu qaleelan thumma adtarruhu ila AAathabi alnnari wabi/sa almaseeru

2.126. " Y cuando Abraham dijo: ""¡Señor! Haz de ésta una ciudad segura y provee de frutos a su población, a aquéllos que crean en Alá y en el último Día"". Dijo: ""A quienes no crean, es dejaré que gocen por breve tiempo. Luego. les arrastraré al castigo del Fuego. ¡Qué mal fin...!"" "

2.127.وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

2.127 . And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House , ( Abraham prayed ) : Our Lord! Accept from us ( this duty ) . Lo! Thou , only Thou , art the Nearer , the Knower .

2.127. Wa-ith yarfaAAu ibraheemu alqawaAAida mina albayti wa-ismaAAeelu rabbana taqabbal minna innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu

2.127. " Y cuando Abraham e Ismael levantaban los cimientos de la Casa: ""¡Señor, acéptanoslo! ¡Tú eres Quien todo lo oye, Quien todo lo sabe! "

2.128.رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

2.128 . Our Lord! And make us submissive unto Thee and of our seed a nation submissive unto Thee , and show us our ways of worship , and relent toward us . Lo! Thou , only Thou , art the Relenting , the Merciful .

2.128. Rabbana waijAAalna muslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatina ommatan muslimatan laka waarina manasikana watub AAalayna innaka anta alttawwabu alrraheemu

2.128. ¡Y haz, Señor, que nos sometamos a Ti, haz de nuestra descendencia una comunidad sumisa a Ti, muéstranos nuestros ritos y vuélvete a nosotros! ¡Tú eres, ciertamente, el Indulgente, el Misericordioso!

2.129.رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ

2.129 . Our Lord! And raise up in their midst a messenger from among them who shall recite unto them Thy revelations , and shall instruct them in the Scripture and in wisdom and shall make them grow . Lo! Thou , only Thou , art the Mighty , Wise .

2.129. Rabbana waibAAath feehim rasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatika wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wayuzakkeehim innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu

2.129. " ¡Señor! Suscita entre ellos a un Enviado de su estirpe que les recite Tus aleyas y les enseñe la Escritura y la Sabiduría les purifique! Tú eres, ciertamente, el Poderoso, el Sabio"". "

2.130.وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلاَّ مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

2.130 . And who forsaketh the religion of Abraham save him who befooleth himself? Verily We chose him in the world , and lo! in the Hereafter he is among the righteous .

2.130. Waman yarghabu AAan millati ibraheema illa man safiha nafsahu walaqadi istafaynahu fee alddunya wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena

2.130. ¿Quién sino el necio de espíritu puede sentir aversión a la religión de Abraham? Le elegimos en la vida de acá y en la otra vida es, ciertamente, de los justos.
