2.76.وَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىَ بَعْضٍ قَالُواْ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ

2.76 . And when they fall in with those who believe , they say : We believe . But when they go apart one with another they say : Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it? Have ye then no sense?

2.76. Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanoo qaloo amanna wa-itha khala baAAduhum ila baAAdin qaloo atuhaddithoonahum bima fataha Allahu AAalaykum liyuhajjookum bihi AAinda rabbikum afala taAAqiloona

2.76. " Y, cuando encuentran a quienes creen, dicen: ""¡Creemos!"" Pero, cuando están a solas, dicen. ""¿Vais a contarles lo que Alá os ha revelado para que puedan esgrimirlo como argumento contra vosotros ante vuestro Señor? ¿Es que no razonáis?"" "

2.77.أَوَلاَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

2.77 . Are they then unaware that Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim?

2.77. Awa la yaAAlamoona anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona

2.77. ¿No saben que Alá conoce lo que ocultan y lo que manifiestan?

2.78.وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ الْكِتَابَ إِلاَّ أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَظُنُّونَ

2.78 . Among them are unlettered folk who know the scripture not except from hearsay . They but guess .

2.78. Waminhum ommiyyoona la yaAAlamoona alkitaba illa amaniyya wa-in hum illa yathunnoona

2.78. Hay entre ellos gentiles que no conocen la Escritura, sino fantasías y no hacen sino conjeturar.

2.79.فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَـذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ لِيَشْتَرُواْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ

2.79 . Therefore woe be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands anthem say , "This is from Allah , " that they may purchase a small gain therewith . Woe unto them for that their hands have written , and woe unto them for that they earn thereby .

2.79. Fawaylun lillatheena yaktuboona alkitaba bi-aydeehim thumma yaqooloona hatha min AAindi Allahi liyashtaroo bihi thamanan qaleelan fawaylun lahum mimma katabat aydeehim wawaylun lahum mimma yaksiboona

2.79. ¡Ay de aquéllos que escriben la Escritura con sus manos y luego dicen: Esto viene de Alá, para, luego, malvenderlo! ¡Ay de ellos por lo que sus manos han escrito! ¡Ay de ellos por lo que han cometido!

2.80.وَقَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلاَّ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُودَةً قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ اللّهِ عَهْداً فَلَن يُخْلِفَ اللّهُ عَهْدَهُ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

2.80 . And they say : The fire ( of punishment ) will not touch save for a certain number of days . Say : Have ye received a covenant from Allah truly Allah will not break His covenant or tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?

2.80. Waqaloo lan tamassana alnnaru illa ayyaman maAAdoodatan qul attakhathtum AAinda Allahi AAahdan falan yukhlifa Allahu AAahdahu am taqooloona AAala Allahi ma la taAAlamoona

2.80. " Dicen: ""El fuego no nos tocará más que por días contados"". Di: ""¿Os ha prometido algo Alá? Pues Alá no faltará a Su promesa. ¿O es que decís contra Alá lo que no sabéis?"" "
