9.51.قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلاَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلاَنَا وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

9.51 . Say : Naught befalleth us save that which Allah hath decreed for us . He is our protecting Friend . In Allah let believers put their trust!

9.51. Qul lan yuseebana illa ma kataba Allahu lana huwa mawlana waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona

9.51. " Di: ""Sólo podrá ocurrirnos lo que Alá nos haya predestinado. Él es nuestro Dueño. ¡Que los creyentes, pues, confíen en Alá!"" "

9.52.قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا فَتَرَبَّصُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ

9.52 . Say : Can ye await for us aught save one of two good things ( death or victory in Allah ' s way ) ? while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with a doom from Him or at our hands . Await then! Lo! we are awaiting with you .

9.52. Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illa ihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasu bikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin min AAindihi aw bi-aydeena fatarabbasoo inna maAAakum mutarabbisoona

9.52. " Di: ""Qué podéis esperar para nosotros sino una de las dos contingencias más bellas?"" Nosotros, en cambio, esperamos que Alá os aflija con un castigo venido de Él o a manos nuestras. ¡Esperad, pues! Nosotros también esperamos con vosotros. "

9.53.قُلْ أَنفِقُواْ طَوْعاً أَوْ كَرْهاً لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ قَوْماً فَاسِقِينَ

9.53 . Say : Pay ( your contribution ) , willingly or unwillingly , it will not be accepted from you . Lo! ye were ever froward folk .

9.53. Qul anfiqoo tawAAan aw karhan lan yutaqabbala minkum innakum kuntum qawman fasiqeena

9.53. " Di: ""Da lo mismo que deis limosna a gusto o a disgusto, pues no se os ha de aceptar, ya que sois gente perversa"". "

9.54.وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلاَ يَأْتُونَ الصَّلاَةَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كُسَالَى وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ

9.54 . And naught preventeth that their contributions should be accepted from them save that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His messenger , and they come not to worship save as idlers , and pay not ( their contribution ) save reluctantly .

9.54. Wama manaAAahum an tuqbala minhum nafaqatuhum illa annahum kafaroo biAllahi wabirasoolihi wala ya/toona alssalata illa wahum kusala wala yunfiqoona illa wahum karihoona

9.54. Lo único que ha impedido que su limosna sea aceptada es que no creen en Alá ni en Su Enviado, no acuden a la azalá sino perezosamente y no dan limosna sino a disgusto.

9.55.فَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ

9.55 . So let not their riches nor their children please thee ( O Muhammad ) . Allah thereby intendeth but to punish them in the life of the world and that their souls shall pass away while they are disbelievers

9.55. Fala tuAAjibka amwaluhum wala awladuhum innama yureedu Allahu liyuAAaththibahum biha fee alhayati alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona

9.55. ¡No te maravilles de su hacienda ni de sus hijos! Alá sólo quiere con ello castigarles en la vida de acá y que exhalen su último suspiro siendo infieles.
