7.116.قَالَ أَلْقُوْاْ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْاْ سَحَرُواْ أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ

7.116 . He said : Throw! And when they threw they cast a spell upon the people ' s eyes , and overawed them , and produced a mighty spell .

7.116. Qala alqoo falamma alqaw saharoo aAAyuna alnnasi waistarhaboohum wajaoo bisihrin AAatheemin

7.116. " Dijo: ""¡Tirad vosotros!"" Y, cuando tiraron fascinaron los ojos de la gente y les aterrorizaron. Vinieron con un encantamiento poderoso. "

7.117.وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ

7.117 . And We inspired Moses ( saying ) : Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show .

7.117. Waawhayna ila moosa an alqi AAasaka fa-itha hiya talqafu ma ya/fikoona

7.117. " E inspiramos a Moisés: ""¡Tira tu vara!"" Y he aquí que ésta engulló sus mentiras. "

7.118.فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

7.118 . Thus was the Truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain .

7.118. FawaqaAAa alhaqqu wabatala ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

7.118. Y se cumplió la Verdad y resultó inútil lo que habían hecho.

7.119.فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُواْ صَاغِرِينَ

7.119 . Thus were they there defeated and brought low .

7.119. Faghuliboo hunalika wainqalaboo saghireena

7.119. Fueron, así, vencidos y se retiraron humillados.

7.120.وَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ

7.120 . And the wizards fell down prostrate ,

7.120. Waolqiya alssaharatu sajideena

7.120. Los magos cayeron prosternados
