43.16.أَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَاكُم بِالْبَنِينَ

43.16 . Or chooseth He daughters of all that He hath created , and honoureth He you with sons?

43.16. Ami ittakhatha mimma yakhluqu banatin waasfakum bialbaneena

43.16. ¿Iba Alá a tomar hijas de entre Sus criaturas, y a vosotros concederos hijos?

43.17.وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ مَثَلاً ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدّاً وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

43.17 . And if one of them hath tidings of that which he likeneth to the Beneficent One , his countenance becometh black and he is full of inward rage .

43.17. Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bima daraba lilrrahmani mathalan thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun

43.17. Cuando se anuncia a uno de ellos lo que él asimila al Compasivo, se queda hosco y se angustia.

43.18.أَوَمَن يُنَشَّأُ فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ

43.18 . ( Liken they then to Allah ) that which is bred up in outward show , and in dispute cannot make itself plain?

43.18. Awaman yunashshao fee alhilyati wahuwa fee alkhisami ghayru mubeenin

43.18. " ""¡Cómo! Un ser que crece entre perifollos, incapaz de discutir claramente..."" "

43.19.وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَاثاً أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ

43.19 . And they make the angels , who are the slaves of the Beneficent , females . Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded and they will be questioned .

43.19. WajaAAaloo almala-ikata allatheena hum AAibadu alrrahmani inathan ashahidoo khalqahum satuktabu shahadatuhum wayus-aloona

43.19. Han considerado a los ángeles que son siervos del Compasivo, de sexo femenino. ¿Es que han sido testigos de la creación de éstos? Se hará constar su testimonio y tendrán que responder del mismo.

43.20.وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَاء الرَّحْمَنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُم مَّا لَهُم بِذَلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ

43.20 . And they say : If the Beneficent One had ( so ) willed , we should not have worshipped them . They have no knowledge whatsoever of that . They do but guess .

43.20. Waqaloo law shaa alrrahmanu ma AAabadnahum ma lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yakhrusoona

43.20. " Dicen: ""Si el Compasivo hubiera querido, no les habríamos servido"". No tienen ningún conocimiento de eso, no hacen sino conjeturar. "
