17.36.وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولـئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً

17.36 . ( O man ) , follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge . Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart of each of these it will be asked .

17.36. Wala taqfu ma laysa laka bihi AAilmun inna alssamAAa waalbasara waalfu-ada kullu ola-ika kana AAanhu mas-oolan

17.36. No vayas tras algo de lo que no tienes ningún conocimiento. Del oído, de la vista, del intelecto, de todo eso se pedirá cuenta.

17.37.وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الأَرْضِ مَرَحاً إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً

17.37 . And walk not in the earth exultant . Lo! thou canst not rend the earth , nor canst thou stretch to the height of the hills .

17.37. Wala tamshi fee al-ardi marahan innaka lan takhriqa al-arda walan tablugha aljibala toolan

17.37. No vayas por la tierra con insolencia, que no eres capaz de hender la tierra, ni de alzarte a la altura de las montañas.

17.38.كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ سَيٍّئُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ مَكْرُوهاً

17.38 . The evil of all that is hateful in the sight of thy Lord .

17.38. Kullu thalika kana sayyi-ohu AAinda rabbika makroohan

17.38. Tu Señor detesta lo malo que en ello hay.

17.39.ذَلِكَ مِمَّا أَوْحَى إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللّهِ إِلَهاً آخَرَ فَتُلْقَى فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَلُوماً مَّدْحُوراً

17.39 . This is ( part ) of that wisdom wherewith thy Lord hath inspired thee ( O Muhammad ) . And set not up with Allah any other god , lest thou be cast into hell , reproved , abandoned .

17.39. Thalika mimma awha ilayka rabbuka mina alhikmati wala tajAAal maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fatulqa fee jahannama malooman madhooran

17.39. Esto forma parte de la sabiduría que tu Señor te ha inspirado. No pongas junto con Alá a otro dios, si no, serás precipitado en la gehena, censurado, desechado.

17.40.أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ إِنَاثاً إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيماً

17.40 . Hath your Lord then distinguished you ( O men of Mecca ) by giving you sons , and hath chosen for Himself females from among the angels? Lo! verily ye speak an awful word!

17.40. Afaasfakum rabbukum bialbaneena waittakhatha mina almala-ikati inathan innakum lataqooloona qawlan AAatheeman

17.40. ¿Es que vuestro Señor, que ha escogido daros hijos varones, iba a tomar para Sí hijas de entre los ángeles? Decís, en verdad, algo muy grave.
