10.96.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

10.96 . Lo! those for whom the word of thy Lord ( concerning sinners ) hath effect will not believe ,

10.96. Inna allatheena haqqat AAalayhim kalimatu rabbika la yu/minoona

10.96. Aquéllos contra quienes se ha cumplido la sentencia de tu Señor no creerán,

10.97.وَلَوْ جَاءتْهُمْ كُلُّ آيَةٍ حَتَّى يَرَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ الأَلِيمَ

10.97 . Though every token come unto them , till they see the painful doom .

10.97. Walaw jaat-hum kullu ayatin hatta yarawoo alAAathaba al-aleema

10.97. aunque reciban todos los signos, hasta que vean el castigo doloroso.

10.98.فَلَوْلاَ كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلاَّ قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّا آمَنُواْ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ

10.98 . If only there had been a community ( of all those that were destroyed of old ) that believed and profited by its belief as did the folk of Jonah . When they believed We drew off from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world and gave them comfort for a while .

10.98. Falawla kanat qaryatun amanat fanafaAAaha eemanuha illa qawma yoonusa lamma amanoo kashafna AAanhum AAathaba alkhizyi fee alhayati alddunya wamattaAAnahum ila heenin

10.98. ¿Por qué no ha habido ninguna ciudad que haya creído y a la que su fe haya aprovechado, fuera del pueblo de Jonás...? Cuando creyeron, les evitamos el castigo, vergonzoso en la vida de acá y les permitimos gozar aún por algún tiempo.

10.99.وَلَوْ شَاء رَبُّكَ لآمَنَ مَن فِي الأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعاً أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَكُونُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

10.99 . And if thy Lord willed , all who are in the earth would have believed together . Wouldst thou ( Muhammad ) compel men until they are believers?

10.99. Walaw shaa rabbuka laamana man fee al-ardi kulluhum jameeAAan afaanta tukrihu alnnasa hatta yakoonoo mu/mineena

10.99. Si tu Señor hubiera querido, todos los habitantes de la tierra, absolutamente todos, habrían creído. Y ¿vas tú a forzar a los hombres a que sean creyentes,

10.100.وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ

10.100 . It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah . He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense .

10.100. Wama kana linafsin an tu/mina illa bi-ithni Allahi wayajAAalu alrrijsa AAala allatheena la yaAAqiloona

10.100. siendo así que nadie está para creer si Alá no lo permite? Y Se irrita contra quienes no razonan.
