7.11.وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ صَوَّرْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ لَمْ يَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ

7.11 . And We created you , then fashioned you , then told the angels : Fall ye prostrate before Adam! And they fell prostrate , all save Iblis , who was not of those who make prostration .

7.11. Walaqad khalaqnakum thumma sawwarnakum thumma qulna lilmala-ikati osjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa lam yakun mina alssajideena

7.11. " Y os creamos. Luego, os formamos. Luego dijimos a los ángeles: ""¡Prosternaos ante Adán!"" Se prosternaron, excepto Iblis. No fue de los que se prosternaron. "

7.12.قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلاَّ تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ قَالَ أَنَاْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ

7.12 . He said : What hindered thee that thou didst not fall prostrate when I bade thee? ( Iblis ) said : I am better than him . Thou createdst me of fire while him Thou didst create of mud .

7.12. Qala ma manaAAaka alla tasjuda ith amartuka qala ana khayrun minhu khalaqtanee min narin wakhalaqtahu min teenin

7.12. " Dijo: ""¿Qué es lo que te ha impedido prosternarte cuando Yo te lo he ordenado?"" Dijo: ""Es que soy mejor que él. A mí me creaste de fuego, mientras que a él le creaste de arcilla"". "

7.13.قَالَ فَاهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَاخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ

7.13 . He said : Then go down hence! It is not for thee to show pride here , so go forth! Lo! thou art of those degraded .

7.13. Qala faihbit minha fama yakoonu laka an tatakabbara feeha faokhruj innaka mina alssaghireena

7.13. " Dijo: ""Desciende, pues, de aquí! ¡No vas a echártelas de soberbio en este lugar...! ¡Sal, pues, eres de los despreciables!"" "

7.14.قَالَ أَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

7.14 . He said : Reprieve me till the day when they are raised ( from the dead ) .

7.14. Qala anthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona

7.14. " Dijo: ""¡Déjame esperar hasta el día de la Resurreción!"" "

7.15.قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ المُنظَرِينَ

7.15 . He said : Lo! thou art of those reprieved .

7.15. Qala innaka mina almunthareena

7.15. " Dijo: ""¡Cuéntate entre aquellos a quienes es dado esperar!"" "
