6.6.أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاء عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَاراً وَجَعَلْنَا الأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْناً آخَرِينَ

6.6 . See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them , whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you , and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky , and made the rivers flow beneath them . Yet We destroyed them for their sins , and created after them another generation

6.6. Alam yaraw kam ahlakna min qablihim min qarnin makkannahum fee al-ardi ma lam numakkin lakum waarsalna alssamaa AAalayhim midraran wajaAAalna al-anhara tajree min tahtihim faahlaknahum bithunoobihim waansha/na min baAAdihim qarnan akhareena

6.6. ¿Es que no ven a cuántas generaciones precedentes hemos hecho perecer? Les habíamos dado poderío en la tierra como no os hemos dado a vosotros. Les enviamos del cielo una lluvia abundante. Hicimos que fluyeran arroyos a sus pies. Con todo, les destruimos por sus pecados y suscitamos otras generaciones después de ellos.

6.7.وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَاباً فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

6.7 . Had we sent down unto thee ( Muhammad ) ( actual ) writing upon parchment , so that they could feel it with their hands , those who disbelieve would have said : This is naught else than mere magic .

6.7. Walaw nazzalna AAalayka kitaban fee qirtasin falamasoohu bi-aydeehim laqala allatheena kafaroo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun

6.7. " Si hubiéramos hecho bajar sobre ti una Escritura escrita en pergamino y la hubieran palpado con sus manos, aun así, los que no creen habrían dicho: ""Esto no es sino manifiesta magia"". "

6.8.وَقَالُواْ لَوْلا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكاً لَّقُضِيَ الأمْرُ ثُمَّ لاَ يُنظَرُونَ

6.8 . They say : Why hath not an angel been sent down unto him? If We sent down an angel , then the matter would be judged ; no further time would be allowed them ( for reflection ) .

6.8. Waqaloo lawla onzila AAalayhi malakun walaw anzalna malakan laqudiya al-amru thumma la yuntharoona

6.8. " Dicen: ""¿Por qué no se ha hecho descender a un ángel sobre él?"" Si hubiéramos hecho descender a un ángel, ya se habría decidido la cosa y no les habría sido dado esperar. "

6.9.وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ مَلَكاً لَّجَعَلْنَاهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ

6.9 . Had We appointed an angel ( Our messenger ) , We assuredly had made him ( as ) a man ( that he might speak to men ) ; and ( thus ) obscured for them ( the truth ) they ( now ) obscure .

6.9. Walaw jaAAalnahu malakan lajaAAalnahu rajulan walalabasna AAalayhim ma yalbisoona

6.9. Si hubiéramos hecho de él un ángel, le habríamos dado apariencia humana y, con ello, habríamos contribuido a su confusión.

6.10.وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

6.10 . Messengers ( of Allah ) have been derided before thee , but that whereat they scoffed surrounded such of them as did deride .

6.10. Walaqadi istuhzi-a birusulin min qablika fahaqa biallatheena sakhiroo minhum ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona

6.10. Se burlaron de enviados que te precedieron, pero los que se burlaban se vieron cercados por aquello de que se burlaban.
