38.21.وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ نَبَأُ الْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا الْمِحْرَابَ

38.21 . And hath the story of the litigants come unto thee? How they climbed the wall into the royal chamber ;

38.21. Wahal ataka nabao alkhasmi ith tasawwaroo almihraba

38.22.إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاء الصِّرَاطِ

38.22 . How they burst in upon David , and he was afraid of them . They said Be not afraid ( We are ) two litigants , one of whom hath wronged the other , therefor judge aright between us ; be not unjust ; and show us the fair way .

38.22. Ith dakhaloo AAala dawooda fafaziAAa minhum qaloo la takhaf khasmani bagha baAAduna AAala baAAdin faohkum baynana bialhaqqi wala tushtit waihdina ila sawa-i alssirati

38.22. " Cuando entraron adonde estaba David y éste se asustó al verles. Dijeron: ""¡No tengas miedo! Somos dos partes litigantes, una de las cuales ha ofendido a la otra. Decide, pues, entre nosostros según justicia, imparcialmente, y dirígenos a la vía recta. "

38.23.إِنَّ هَذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ

38.23 . Lo! this my brother hath ninety and nine ewes while I had one ewe ; and he said : Entrust it to me , and he conquered me in speech .

38.23. Inna hatha akhee lahu tisAAun watisAAoona naAAjatan waliya naAAjatun wahidatun faqala akfilneeha waAAazzanee fee alkhitabi

38.23. " éste es mi hermano. Tiene noventa y nueve ovejas y yo una oveja. Dijo: '¡Confíamela!' Y me gana a discutir"". "

38.24.قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَى نِعَاجِهِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيراً مِّنْ الْخُلَطَاء لَيَبْغِي بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَّا هُمْ وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعاً وَأَنَابَ {س} .

38.24 . ( David ) said : He hath wronged thee in demanding thine ewe in addition to his ewes , and lo! many partners oppress one another , save such as believe and do good works , and they are few . And David guessed that We had tried him , and he sought forgiveness of his Lord , and he bowed himself and fell down prostrate and repented .

38.24. Qala laqad thalamaka bisu-ali naAAjatika ila niAAajihi wa-inna katheeran mina alkhulata-i layabghee baAAduhum AAala baAAdin illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati waqaleelun ma hum wathanna dawoodu annama fatannahu faistaghfara rabbahu wakharra rakiAAan waanaba

38.24. " Dijo: ""Sí, ha sido injusto contigo pidiéndote que agregaras tu oveja a las suyas"". En verdad, muchos consocios se causan daño unos a otros, no los que creen y obran bien, pero ¡que pocos son éstos! David comprendió que sólo habíamos querido probarle y pidió perdón a su Señor. Cayó de rodillas y se arrepintió. "

38.25.فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُ ذَلِكَ وَإِنَّ لَهُ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَى وَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ

38.25 . So We forgave him that ; and lo! he had access to Our presence and a happy journey ' s end .

38.25. Faghafarna lahu thalika wa-inna lahu AAindana lazulfa wahusna maabin
