38.16.وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ

38.16 . They say : Our Lord! Hasten on for us our fate before the Day of Reckoning .

38.16. Waqaloo rabbana AAajjil lana qittana qabla yawmi alhisabi

38.16. " Dicen: ""¡Señor! ¡Anticípanos nuestra parte antes del día de la Cuenta!"" "

38.17.اصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُودَ ذَا الْأَيْدِ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ

38.17 . Bear with what they say , and remember Our bondman David , lord of might . Lo! he was ever turning in repentance ( toward Allah ) .

38.17. Isbir AAala ma yaqooloona waothkur AAabdana dawooda tha al-aydi innahu awwabun

38.17. Ten paciencia con lo que dicen y recuerda a Nuestro siervo David, el fuerte. Su arrepentimiento era sincero.

38.18.إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا الْجِبَالَ مَعَهُ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِشْرَاقِ

38.18 . Lo! We subdued the hills to hymn the praises ( of their Lord ) with him at nightfall and sunrise ,

38.18. Inna sakhkharna aljibala maAAahu yusabbihna bialAAashiyyi waal-ishraqi

38.18. Sujetamos, junto con él, las montañas para que glorificaran por la tarde y por la mañana.

38.19.وَالطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً كُلٌّ لَّهُ أَوَّابٌ

38.19 . And the birds assembled ; all were turning unto Him

38.19. Waalttayra mahshooratan kullun lahu awwabun

38.19. Y los pájaros, en bandadas. Todo vuelve a Él.

38.20.وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ

38.20 . We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and decisive speech .

38.20. Washadadna mulkahu waataynahu alhikmata wafasla alkhitabi

38.20. Consolidamos su dominio y le dimos la sabiduría y la facultad de arbitrar.
