26.206.ثُمَّ جَاءهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ

26.206 . And then cometh that which they were promised ,

26.206. Thumma jaahum ma kanoo yooAAadoona

26.206. y, luego, se cumpliera en ellos la amenaza,

26.207.مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ

26.207 . ( How ) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them?

26.207. Ma aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yumattaAAoona

26.207. no les serviría de nada el haber disfrutado tanto.

26.208.وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ

26.208 . And We destroyed no township but it had its warners

26.208. Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa laha munthiroona

26.208. No hemos destruido nunca una ciudad sin haberle enviado antes quienes advirtieran,

26.209.ذِكْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

26.209 . For reminder , for We never were oppressors .

26.209. Thikra wama kunna thalimeena

26.209. como amonestación. No somos injustos.

26.210.وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ

26.210 . The devils did not bring it down .

26.210. Wama tanazzalat bihi alshshayateenu

26.210. No son los demonios quienes lo han bajado:
