89.11.الَّذِينَ طَغَوْا فِي الْبِلَادِ

89.11 . Who ( all ) were rebellious ( to Allah ) these lands ,

89.11. Allatheena taghaw fee albiladi

89.11. que se habían excedido en el país

89.12.فَأَكْثَرُوا فِيهَا الْفَسَادَ

89.12 . And multiplied inquiry therein?

89.12. Faaktharoo feeha alfasada

89.12. y que habían corrompido tanto en él?

89.13.فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ

89.13 . Therefor thy Lord poured on them the disaster of His punishment .

89.13. Fasabba AAalayhim rabbuka sawta AAathabin

89.13. Tu Señor descargó sobre ellos el azote de un castigo.

89.14.إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ

89.14 . Lo! thy Lord is ever .

89.14. Inna rabbaka labialmirsadi

89.14. Tu Señor está, sí, al acecho.

89.15.فَأَمَّا الْإِنسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ

89.15 . As for man , whenever his Lord trieth him by honoring him , and is gracious unto him , he saith : My Lord honoureth me .

89.15. Faamma al-insanu itha ma ibtalahu rabbuhu faakramahu wanaAAAAamahu fayaqoolu rabbee akramani

89.15. " El hombre, cuando su Señor le prueba honrándolo y concediéndole gracias, dice: ""¡Mi Señor me ha honrado!"" "
