51.41.وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ
51.41 . And in ( the tribe of ) Aad ( there is a portent ) when We sent the fatal wind against them .
51.41. Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema
51.41. Y en los aditas. Cuando enviamos contra ellos el viento desvastador,
51.42.مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ
51.42 . It spared naught that it reached , but made it ( all ) as dust .
51.42. Ma tatharu min shay-in atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalat-hu kaalrrameemi
51.42. que pulverizaba todo cuanto encontraba a su paso.
51.43.وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّى حِينٍ
51.43 . And in ( the tribe of ) Thamud ( there is a portent ) when it was told them : Take your ease awhile .
51.43. Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin
51.43. " Y en los tamudeos. Cuando se les dijo: ""¡Gozad aún por algún tiempo!"" "
51.44.فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
51.44 . But they rebelled against their Lord ' s decree , and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed ;
51.44. FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona
51.44. Pero infringieron la orden de su Señor y les sorprendió el Rayo, viéndolo venir.
51.45.فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنتَصِرِينَ
51.45 . And they were unable to rise up , nor could they help themselves .
51.45. Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena
51.45. No pudieron tenerse en pie, ni defenderse.
