38.26.يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ

38.26 . ( And it was said unto him ) : O David! Lo! We have set thee as a viceroy in the earth ; therefor judge aright between mankind , and follow not desire that it beguile thee from the way of Allah . Lo! those who wander from the way of Allah have an awful doom , forasmuch as they forgot the Day of Reckoning .

38.26. Ya dawoodu inna jaAAalnaka khaleefatan fee al-ardi faohkum bayna alnnasi bialhaqqi wala tattabiAAi alhawa fayudillaka AAan sabeeli Allahi inna allatheena yadilloona AAan sabeeli Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun bima nasoo yawma alhisabi

38.26. ¡David! Te hemos hecho sucesor en la tierra. ¡Decide, pues, entre los hombres según justicia! ¡No sigas la pasión! Si no, te extraviará del camino de Alá. Quienes se extravíen del camino de Alá tendrán un severo castigo. Por haber olvidado el día de la Cuenta.

38.27.وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلاً ذَلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ

38.27 . And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain . That is the opinion of those who disbelieve . And woe unto those who disbelieve , from the Fire!

38.27. Wama khalaqna alssamaa waal-arda wama baynahuma batilan thalika thannu allatheena kafaroo fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo mina alnnari

38.27. No hemos creado en vano el cielo, la tierra y lo que entre ellos está. Así piensan los infieles. Y ¡ay de los infieles, por el Fuego...!

38.28.أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَالْمُفْسِدِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الْمُتَّقِينَ كَالْفُجَّارِ

38.28 . Shall We treat those who believe and do good works as those who spread corruption in the earth ; or shall We treat the Pious as the wicked?

38.28. Am najAAalu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati kaalmufsideena fee al-ardi am najAAalu almuttaqeena kaalfujjari

38.28. ¿Trataremos a quienes creen y obran bien igual que a quienes corrompen en la tierra, a los temerosos de Alá igual que a los pecadores?

38.29.كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ

38.29 . ( This is ) a Scripture that We have revealed unto thee , full of blessing , that they may ponder its revelations , and that men of understanding may reflect .

38.29. Kitabun anzalnahu ilayka mubarakun liyaddabbaroo ayatihi waliyatathakkara oloo al-albabi

38.29. Una Escritura que te hemos revelado, bendita, para que mediten en sus aleyas y para que los dotados de intelecto se dejen amonestar.

38.30.وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ

38.30 . And We bestowed on David , Solomon . How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance ( toward Allah ) .

38.30. Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymana niAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun

38.30. A David le regalamos Salomón. ¡Qué siervo tan agradable! Su arrepentimiento era sincero.
