34.51.وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ فَزِعُوا فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ

34.51 . Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape , and are seized from near at hand .

34.51. Walaw tara ith faziAAoo fala fawta waokhithoo min makanin qareebin

34.51. Si pudieras ver cuando, sobrecogidos de espanto, sin escape posible, sean arrebatados de un lugar próximo.

34.52.وَقَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ وَأَنَّى لَهُمُ التَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ

34.52 . And say : We ( now ) believe therein . But how can they reach ( faith ) from afar off ,

34.52. Waqaloo amanna bihi waanna lahumu alttanawushu min makanin baAAeedin

34.52. " Dirán: ""¡Creemos en É1!"" Pero ¿como podrán alcanzar estando tan lejos, "

34.53.وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ

34.53 . When they disbelieved in it of yore . They aim at the unseen from afar off .

34.53. Waqad kafaroo bihi min qablu wayaqthifoona bialghaybi min makanin baAAeedin

34.53. si antes no creyeron en É y, desde lejos, lanzaban injurias contra lo oculto?

34.54.وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا فِي شَكٍّ مُّرِيبٍ

34.54 . And a gulf is set between them and that which they desire , as was done for people of their kind of old . Lo! they were in hopeless doubt .

34.54. Waheela baynahum wabayna ma yashtahoona kama fuAAila bi-ashyaAAihim min qablu innahum kanoo fee shakkin mureebin

34.54. Se interpondrá una barrera entre ellos y el objeto de su deseo, como ocurrió antes con sus semejantes: estaban en duda grave.
