23.31.ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْناً آخَرِينَ

23.31 . Then , after them , We brought forth another generation ;

23.31. Thumma ansha/na min baAAdihim qarnan akhareena

23.31. Luego, después de ellos, suscitamos otra generación

23.32.فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

23.32 . And We sent among them a messenger of their own saying : Serve Allah . Ye have no other god save Him . Will ye not warn off ( evil ) ?

23.32. Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum ani oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona

23.32. " y les mandamos un enviado salido de ellos: ""¡Servid a Alá! No tenéis a ningún otro dios que a Él ¿Y no Le temeréis?"" "

23.33.وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاء الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ

23.33 . And the chieftains of his folk , who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter , and whom We had made soft in the life of the world , said : This is only a mortal like you , who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink .

23.33. Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biliqa-i al-akhirati waatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunya ma hatha illa basharun mithlukum ya/kulu mimma ta/kuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona

23.33. " Pero los dignatarios del pueblo, que no creían y desmentían la existencia de la otra vida y a los cuales habíamos enriquecido en la vida de acá, dijeron: ""Éste no es sino un mortal como vosotros, que come de lo mismo que vosotros coméis y bebe de lo mismo que vosotros bebéis"". "

23.34.وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَراً مِثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذاً لَّخَاسِرُونَ

23.34 . If ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves , ye surely would be losers .

23.34. Wala-in ataAAtum basharan mithlakum innakum ithan lakhasiroona

23.34. Si obedecéis a un mortal como vosotros, estáis perdidos.

23.35.أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ

23.35 . Doth he promise you that you , when ye are dead and have become dust and bones , will ( again ) be brought forth?

23.35. AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittum wakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakum mukhrajoona

23.35. ¿Os ha prometido que se os sacará cuando muráis y seáis tierra y huesos?
