Depends what are you looking for? - Culture and lot of activities: theater, mesuem, sightseeing, ... I would recommend paris - Nature and relaxation (also depends, see, rivers, mont, ...): there are lot of nice places in france

Consider Croatia as one place to visit. Of course, you can hardly count few days as a holiday but it's always worth taking a little break from mundane life...
I toured this place few years ago and just loved it. I found Zagreb boring but again you don't have to go there.
Just look at this stunning park with 11 lakes and 9 falls.
There is a huge stretch along the coast known as makarska riviera, from west Croatia to east and up to Dubrovnich which boast some of the best beaches in Europe.
Austria, another place I have visited or shall I say toured some 9 times. Its perhaps the place I love most after Spain or as much as Spain. Its breath taking both in winter and in summer.
