9.81.فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلاَفَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ وَكَرِهُواْ أَن يُجَاهِدُواْ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَالُواْ لاَ تَنفِرُواْ فِي الْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرّاً لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ

9.81 . Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the messenger of Allah , and were averse to striving with their wealth and their lives in Allah ' s way . And they said : Go not forth in the heat! Say : The heat of hell is more intense of heat , if they but understood .

9.81. Fariha almukhallafoona bimaqAAadihim khilafa rasooli Allahi wakarihoo an yujahidoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waqaloo la tanfiroo fee alharri qul naru jahannama ashaddu harran law kanoo yafqahoona

9.81. " Los dejados atrás se alegraron de poder quedarse en casa en contra del Enviado de Alá. Les repugnaba luchar por Alá con su hacienda y sus personas y decían: ""No vayáis a la guerra con este calor"". Di: ""El fuego de la gehena es aún más caliente"". Si entendieran... "

9.82.فَلْيَضْحَكُواْ قَلِيلاً وَلْيَبْكُواْ كَثِيراً جَزَاء بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ

9.82 . Then let them laugh a little : they will weep much , as the award of what they used to earn .

9.82. Falyadhakoo qaleelan walyabkoo katheeran jazaan bima kanoo yaksiboona

9.82. ¡Que rían, pues, un poco! Ya llorarán, y mucho, como retribución de lo que han cometido.

9.83.فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ اللّهُ إِلَى طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُواْ مَعِيَ أَبَداً وَلَن تُقَاتِلُواْ مَعِيَ عَدُوّاً إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِالْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَاقْعُدُواْ مَعَ الْخَالِفِينَ

9.83 . If Allah bring thee back ( from the campaign ) unto a party of them and they ask of thee leave to go out ( to fight ) , then say unto them : Ye shall never more go out with me nor fight with me against a foe . Ye were content with sitting still the first time . So sit still , with the useless .

9.83. Fa-in rajaAAaka Allahu ila ta-ifatin minhum faista/thanooka lilkhurooji faqul lan takhrujoo maAAiya abadan walan tuqatiloo maAAiya AAaduwwan innakum radeetum bialquAAoodi awwala marratin faoqAAudoo maAAa alkhalifeena

9.83. " Si Alá vuelve a llevarte a un grupo de ellos y te piden permiso para ir a la guerra, di: ""¡No iréis nunca conmigo! ¡No combatiréis conmigo contra ningún enenmigo! Preferisteis una vez quedaros en casa. ¡Quedaos, pues, con los que se quedan detrás!"" "

9.84.وَلاَ تُصَلِّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُم مَّاتَ أَبَداً وَلاَ تَقُمْ عَلَىَ قَبْرِهِ إِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

9.84 . And never ( O Muhammad ) pray for one of them who dieth , nor stand by his grave . Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger , and they died while they were evil-doers .

9.84. Wala tusalli AAala ahadin minhum mata abadan wala taqum AAala qabrihi innahum kafaroo biAllahi warasoolihi wamatoo wahum fasiqoona

9.84. ¡No ores nunca por ninguno de ellos cuando muera, ni te detengas ante su tumba! No han creído en Alá y en Su Enviado y han muerto en su perversidad.

9.85.وَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ

9.85 . Let not their wealth nor their children please thee! Allah purposeth only to punish them thereby in the world , and that their souls shall pass away while they are disbelievers .

9.85. Wala tuAAjibka amwaluhum waawladuhum innama yureedu Allahu an yuAAaththibahum biha fee alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona

9.85. ¡ No te maravilles de su hacienda y de sus hijos! Alá sólo quiere con ello castigarles en la vida de acá y que exhalen su último suspiro siendo infieles.
