46.26.وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِيمَا إِن مَّكَّنَّاكُمْ فِيهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعاً وَأَبْصَاراً وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلَا أَفْئِدَتُهُم مِّن شَيْءٍ إِذْ كَانُوا يَجْحَدُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون

46.26 . And verily We bad empowered them with that where with We have not empowered you , and had assigned them ears and eyes and hearts ; but their ears and eyes and hearts availed them naught since they denied the revelations of Allah ; and what they used to mock befell them .

46.26. Walaqad makkannahum feema in makkannakum feehi wajaAAalna lahum samAAan waabsaran waaf-idatan fama aghna AAanhum samAAuhum wala absaruhum wala af-idatuhum min shay-in ith kanoo yajhadoona bi-ayati Allahi wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona

46.26. Les habíamos dado un poderío como no os hemos dado a vosotros. Les habíamos dado oído, vista, intelecto. Pero ni el oído, ni la vista, ni el intelecto les sirvieron de nada, pues negaron los signos de Alá. Y les cercó aquello de que se burlaban.

46.27.وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْقُرَى وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

46.27 . And verily We have destroyed townships round about you , and displayed ( for them ) Our revelation , that haply they might return .

46.27. Walaqad ahlakna ma hawlakum mina alqura wasarrafna al-ayati laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

46.27. Hemos destruido las ciudades que había alrededor de vosotros. Les habíamos expuesto los signos. Quizás, así, se convirtieran.

46.28.فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَاناً آلِهَةً بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ وَذَلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ

46.28 . Then why did those whom they had chosen for gods as a way of approach ( unto Allah ) not help them? Nay , but they did fail them utterly . And ( all ) that was their lie , and what they used to invent

46.28. Falawla nasarahumu allatheena ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi qurbanan alihatan bal dalloo AAanhum wathalika ifkuhum wama kanoo yaftaroona

46.28. ¿Por qué no les auxiliaron aquéllos a los que, en lugar de tomar a Alá, habían tomado como dioses para que les acercaran? Al contrario, les abandonaron. Ésa fue su mentira y su invención.

46.29.وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَراً مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

46.29 . And when We inclined toward thee ( Muhammad ) certain of the Jinn , who wished to hear the Quran and , when they were in its presence , said : Give ear! and , when it was finished , turned back to their people , warning .

46.29. Wa-ith sarafna ilayka nafaran mina aljinni yastamiAAoona alqur-ana falamma hadaroohu qaloo ansitoo falamma qudiya wallaw ila qawmihim munthireena

46.29. " Y cuando te llevamos un grupo de genios para que escucharan la Recitación. Cuando estaban presentes a ella, dijeron: ""¡Callad!"" Y, cuando se terminó, regresaron a los suyos para advertirles. "

46.30.قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَاباً أُنزِلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَى مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَى طَرِيقٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

46.30 . They said : O our people! Lo! we have heard a Scripture which hath been revealed after Moses , confirming that which was before it , guiding unto the truth and a right road .

46.30. Qaloo ya qawmana inna samiAAna kitaban onzila min baAAdi moosa musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi yahdee ila alhaqqi wa-ila tareeqin mustaqeemin

46.30. " Dijeron: ""¡Pueblo! Hemos oído una Escritura revelada después de Moisés, en confirmación de los mensajes anteriores, que dirige a la Verdad y a una vía recta"". "
