31.16.يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

31.16 . O my dear son! Lo! though it be but the weight of a grain of mustard seed , and though it be in a rock , or in the heavens , or in the earth , Allah will bring it forth . Allah is Subtile , Aware .

31.16. Ya bunayya innaha in taku mithqala habbatin min khardalin fatakun fee sakhratin aw fee alssamawati aw fee al-ardi ya/ti biha Allahu inna Allaha lateefun khabeerun

31.16. " ""¡Hijito! Aunque se trate de algo del peso de un grano de mostaza y esté escondido en una roca, en los cielos o en la tierra, Alá lo sacará a luz. Alá es sutil, está bien informado. "

31.17.يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

31.17 . O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity , and persevere whatever may befall thee . Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things .

31.17. Ya bunayya aqimi alssalata wa/mur bialmaAAroofi wainha AAani almunkari waisbir AAala ma asabaka inna thalika min AAazmi al-omoori

31.17. ¡Hijito! ¡Haz la azalá! ¡Ordena lo que está bien y prohíbe lo que está mal! ¡Ten paciencia ante la adversidad! ¡Eso sí que es dar muestras de resolución!

31.18.وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحاً إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

31.18 . Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk , nor walk with pertness the land . Lo! Allah loveth not each braggart boaster .

31.18. Wala tusaAAAAir khaddaka lilnnasi wala tamshi fee al-ardi marahan inna Allaha la yuhibbu kulla mukhtalin fakhoorin

31.18. ¡No pongas mala cara a la gente, ni pises la tierra con insolencia! Alá no ama a nadie que sea presumido, jactancioso.

31.19.وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ

31.19 . Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice . Lo! in harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass .

31.19. Waiqsid fee mashyika waoghdud min sawtika inna ankara al-aswati lasawtu alhameeri

31.19. " ¡Sé modesto en tus andares! ¡Habla en voz baja! ¡La voz más desagradable es, ciertamente, la del asno!"" "

31.20.أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ

31.20 . See ye not how Allah hath made serviceable unto you whatsoever is in the skies and whatsoever is in the earth and hath loaded you with His favors both without and within? Yet of mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah , without knowledge or guidance or a Scripture giving light .

31.20. Alam taraw anna Allaha sakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi waasbagha AAalaykum niAAamahu thahiratan wabatinatan wamina alnnasi man yujadilu fee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wala hudan wala kitabin muneerin

31.20. ¿No veis que Alá ha sujetado a vuestro servicio lo que está en los cielos y en la tierra, y os ha colmado de Sus gracias, visibles u ocultas? Pero hay algunos hombres que discuten de Alá sin tener conocimiento, ni dirección, ni Escritura luminosa.
