22.11.وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ

22.11 . And among mankind is he who worshippeth Allah upon a narrow marge so that if good befalleth him he is content therewith , but if a trial befalleth him , he falleth away utterly . He loseth both the world and the Hereafter . That is the sheer loss .

22.11. Wamina alnnasi man yaAAbudu Allaha AAala harfin fa-in asabahu khayrun itmaanna bihi wa-in asabat-hu fitnatun inqalaba AAala wajhihi khasira alddunya waal-akhirata thalika huwa alkhusranu almubeenu

22.11. Hay entre los hombres quien vacila en servir a Alá. Si recibe un bien, lo disfruta tranquilamente. Pero, si sufre una tentación, gira en redondo, perdiendo así la vida de acá y la otra: es una pérdida irreparable.

22.12.يَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ

22.12 . He calleth , beside Allah , unto that which hurteth him not nor benefiteth him . That is the far error .

22.12. YadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma la yadurruhu wama la yanfaAAuhu thalika huwa alddalalu albaAAeedu

22.12. Invoca, en lugar de invocar a Alá, lo que no puede dañarle ni aprovecharle. Ése es el profundo extravío.

22.13.يَدْعُو لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ

22.13 . He calleth unto him whose harm is nearer than his benefit ; verily an evil patron and verity an evil friend!

22.13. YadAAoo laman darruhu aqrabu min nafAAihi labi/sa almawla walabi/sa alAAasheeru

22.13. Invoca, ciertamente, a quien puede más fácilmente dañar que aprovechar. ¡Qué mal protector! y ¡qué mal compañero!

22.14.إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

22.14 . Lo! Allah causeth those who believe and do good works to enter the Gardens underneath which rivers flow . Lo! Allah doth what He intendeth .

22.14. Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati jannatin tajree min tahtiha al-anharu inna Allaha yafAAalu ma yureedu

22.14. Alá introducirá a los creyentes que obraron bien en jardines por cuyos bajos fluyen arroyos. Alá hace lo que quiere.

22.15.مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى السَّمَاء ثُمَّ لِيَقْطَعْ فَلْيَنظُرْ هَلْ يُذْهِبَنَّ كَيْدُهُ مَا يَغِيظُ

22.15 . Whoso is wont to think ( through envy ) that Allah will not give him ( Muhammad ) victory in the world and the Hereafter ( and is enraged at the thought of his victory ) , let him stretch a rope up to the roof ( of his dwelling ) , and let him hang himself . Then let him see whether his strategy dispelleth that whereat he rageth!

22.15. Man kana yathunnu an lan yansurahu Allahu fee alddunya waal-akhirati falyamdud bisababin ila alssama-i thumma liyaqtaAA falyanthur hal yuthhibanna kayduhu ma yagheethu

22.15. Quien crea que Alá no va a auxiliarle en la vida de acá ni en la otra, que tienda una cuerda al cielo y luego la corte. ¡Que vea si su ardid acaba con lo que le irritaba!
