2.11.وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ

2.11 . And when it is said unto them : Make not mischief in the earth , they say : We are peacemakers only .

2.11. Wa-itha qeela lahum la tufsidoo fee al-ardi qaloo innama nahnu muslihoona

2.11. " Cuando se les dice: ""¡No corrompáis en la tierra!"", dicen: ""Pero ¡si somos reformadores!"" "

2.12.أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ

2.12 . Are not they indeed the mischief makers? But they perceive not .

2.12. Ala innahum humu almufsidoona walakin la yashAAuroona

2.12. ¡No son ellos, en realidad, los corruptores? Pero no se dan cuenta.

2.13.وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُواْ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاء أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاء وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَعْلَمُونَ

2.13 . And when it is said unto them : Believe as the people believe , they say : Shall we believe as the foolish believe? Are not they indeed the foolish? But they know not .

2.13. Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo kama amana alnnasu qaloo anu/minu kama amana alssufahao ala innahum humu alssufahao walakin la yaAAlamoona

2.13. " Cuando se les dice: ""¡Creed como creen los demás!"", dicen: ""¿Es que vamos a creer como creen los tontos?"" Son ellos los tontos, pero no lo saben. "

2.14.وَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْاْ إِلَى شَيَاطِينِهِمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكْمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِئُونَ

2.14 . And when they fall in with those who believe , they say : We believe ; but when they go apart to their devils they declare : Lo! we are with you ; verily we did but mock .

2.14. Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanoo qaloo amanna wa-itha khalaw ila shayateenihim qaloo inna maAAakum innama nahnu mustahzi-oona

2.14. " Cuando encuentran a quienes creen, dicen: ""¡Creemos!"" Pero, cuando están a solas con sus demonios, dicen: ""Estamos con vosotros, era sólo una broma"". "

2.15.اللّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

2.15 . Allah ( Himself ) doth mock them , leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy .

2.15. Allahu yastahzi-o bihim wayamudduhum fee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona

2.15. Alá les devolverá la broma y les dejará que persistan en su rebeldía, errando ciegos.
