Over 311,000 Moroccan students earn baccalaureate in 2025

The Ministry of National Education announced that 311,625 school candidates from both public and private institutions obtained their baccalaureate in 2025, following the regular and make-up exam sessions. The overall pass rate stands at 83.3%, marking a slight decrease compared to 2024 (84.1%).

During the make-up session, 59,918 students passed, with a participation rate of 94.2%. Among independent candidates, 12,341 succeeded, with an attendance rate of 61.3%. In total, 38,484 independent candidates earned their baccalaureate this year, resulting in a 55.1% pass rate, down from 57.6% last year.

The ministry commended the dedication and professionalism of the educational staff involved in organizing the exams, along with the efforts of all stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and security forces, who contributed to the smooth running of the sessions. A special acknowledgment was also given to the media for their continued support throughout the process.
