A landmark in outdoor cinema in Morocco, Cameo is making a grand return to Casablanca on June 20, 2025, at 9:00 PM at the Casa-Anfa Hippodrome. This year, the organizers plan to extend the open-air cinema experience beyond the metropolis to Rabat, Marrakech, and several other cities across the country, aiming to offer a rich and diverse program throughout the summer season.
Founded in 2015, Cameo transforms each screening into an immersive and friendly experience under the stars. «Set in iconic locations in each city, it offers the public a new way to enjoy cinema, outdoors, in a warm and original atmosphere», the organizers said in a press release.
They added that the initiative seeks to place leisure and culture at the heart of daily life by offering innovative formats tailored to the tastes and expectations of a broad Moroccan and international audience.
Beyond mainstream films, the concept also embraces a playful and communal spirit, encouraging film appreciation and bringing audiences together in a unifying and festive setting.
