Morocco's road safety agency launches new bidirectional radar system

Morocco's National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) announced on Tuesday the introduction of a new automated radar system to detect traffic violations, including speeding, in both directions.

In a statement, NARSA said the system will go live on June 16 as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety. The radars will be able to capture speeding vehicles from both the front and rear, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of speed limits.

The agency emphasized that all violations will be monitored, regardless of the direction of travel. NARSA also reminded drivers to respect speed limits and obey traffic laws at all times.
