Spanish club Real Madrid is reportedly looking to sign promising Moroccan talent Abdellah Ouazane, 16, according to Spanish sports newspaper Marca, known for its close ties to the La Liga giants.

Ouazane’s contract with Ajax Amsterdam is set to expire on June 30. The young midfielder rose to prominence after being named Best Player at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, thanks to his standout performances with the Moroccan national team.

Marca reports that Real Madrid has been monitoring Ouazane for some time, alongside several other top European clubs showing interest in the creative midfielder. The paper describes him as «a creative talent capable of playing as a playmaker or central midfielder».

Discussions have already taken place between Real Madrid’s management and the player’s representatives, though the deal has not yet been finalized. Ouazane could potentially join either the club’s youth setup or Castilla, Real Madrid’s reserve team.

Club officials are working to secure the signing of one of the brightest young prospects on their radar, as part of a broader effort to strengthen the club’s future with high-potential talent.
