The Moroccan team has secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN U20) by defeating their Tunisian counterparts 3-1 on Wednesday in Ismailia, in the northeast of Egypt, during the third and final matchday of Group B.
The Moroccan squad triumphed with goals from Ayman Arguige (44th minute), Ismail Bakhty (86th minute), and Jones El Abdellaoui (90+2 minutes), while Tunisia's sole goal was scored by Anis Doubal (53rd minute).
With this victory, Morocco advances as the leader of its group (7 points). They will play in the quarter-finals next Monday in Cairo against the runner-up of Group A.
