8.41.وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمْ آمَنتُمْ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

8.41 . And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war , lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah , and for the messenger and for the kinsmen ( who hath need ) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer ; if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination , the day when the two armies met . And Allah is Able to do all things .

8.41. WaiAAlamoo annama ghanimtum min shay-in faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooli walithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeni waibni alssabeeli in kuntum amantum biAllahi wama anzalna AAala AAabdina yawma alfurqani yawma iltaqa aljamAAani waAllahu AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun

8.41. Sabed que, si obtenéis algún botín un quinto corresponde a Alá, al Enviado y a sus parientes, a los huérfanos, a los pobres y al viajero, si creéis en Alá y en lo que hemos revelado a Nuestro siervo el día del Criterio, el día que se encontraron los dos ejércitos. Alá es omnipotente.

8.42.إِذْ أَنتُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَى وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدتَّمْ لاَخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ وَلَـكِن لِّيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْراً كَانَ مَفْعُولاً لِّيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَى مَنْ حَيَّ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَإِنَّ اللّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

8.42 . When ye were on the near bank ( of the valley ) and they were on the yonder bank , and the caravan was below you ( on the coast plain ) . And had ye trysted to meet one another ye surely would have failed to keep the tryst , but ( it happened , as it did , without the forethought of either of you ) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done ; that he who perished ( on that day ) might perish by a clear proof ( of His sovereignty ) and he who survived might survive by a clear proof ( of His sovereignty ) . Lo! Allah in truth is Hearer , Knower .

8.42. Ith antum bialAAudwati alddunya wahum bialAAudwati alquswa waalrrakbu asfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum fee almeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatin wayahya man hayya AAan bayyinatin wa-inna Allaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun

8.42. Cuando estabais en la ladera más próxima y ellos en la más lejana, mientras que la caravana estaba más baja que vosotros. Si hubierais intentado daros cita, no os habríais puesto de acuerdo sobre ella, pero para que Alá decidiera algo que debía hacerse. Para que, ante una prueba clara, pereciera quien debía perecer y, ante una prueba clara, sobreviviera quien debía sobrevivir. Alá todo lo oye, todo lo sabe.

8.43.إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ اللّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلاً وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيراً لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الأَمْرِ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ سَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

8.43 . When Allah showed them unto thee ( O Muhammad ) in thy dream as few in number , and if He had shown them to thee as many , ye ( Muslims ) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair . But Allah saved ( you ) . Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts ( of men ) .

8.43. Ith yureekahumu Allahu fee manamika qaleelan walaw arakahum katheeran lafashiltum walatanazaAAtum fee al-amri walakinna Allaha sallama innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

8.43. Cuando, en tu sueño, Alá te los mostró poco numerosos, que, si te los hubiera mostrado numerosos, os habríais desanimado y habríais discutido sobre el particular, pero Alá os preservó. Él sabe bien lo que encierran los pechos.

8.44.وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلاً وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْراً كَانَ مَفْعُولاً وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأمُورُ

8.44 . And when He made you ( Muslims ) , when ye met ( them ) , see them with your eyes as few , and lessened you in their eyes , ( it was ) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done . Unto Allah all things are brought back .

8.44. Wa-ith yureekumoohum ithi iltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihim liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan wa-ila Allahi turjaAAu al-omooru

8.44. Y cuando Alá, al iniciarse el encuentro, os los mostró poco numerosos a vuestros ojos, igual que os empequeñeció a sus ojos, para que Alá decidiera algo que debía hacerse. Y todo será devuelto a Alá.

8.45.يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَثِيراً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلَحُونَ

8.45 . O ye who believe! When ye meet an army , hold firm and think of Allah much , that ye may be successful .

8.45. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha laqeetum fi-atan faothbutoo waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona

8.45. ¡Creyentes! Cuando encontréis a una tropa ¡manteneos firmes y recordad mucho a Alá! ¡Quizás, así, consigáis la victoria!
