42.36.فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

42.36 . Now whatever ye have been given is but a passing comfort for the life of the world , and that which Allah hath is better and more lasting for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord .

42.36. Fama ooteetum min shay-in famataAAu alhayati alddunya wama AAinda Allahi khayrun waabqa lillatheena amanoo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona

42.36. Todo lo que habéis recibido es breve disfrute de la vida de acá. En cambio, lo que Alá tiene es mejor y más duradero para quienes creen y confían en su Señor,

42.37.وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ

42.37 . And those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and , when they are wroth , forgive ,

42.37. Waallatheena yajtaniboona kaba-ira al-ithmi waalfawahisha wa-itha ma ghadiboo hum yaghfiroona

42.37. evitan cometer pecados graves y deshonestidades y, cuando están airados, perdonan,

42.38.وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

42.38 . And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish worship , and whose affairs are a matter of counsel , and who spend of what We have bestowed on them ,

42.38. Waallatheena istajaboo lirabbihim waaqamoo alssalata waamruhum shoora baynahum wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona

42.38. escuchan a su Señor, hacen la azalá, se consultan mutuamente, dan limosna de lo que les hemos proveído,

42.39.وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ

42.39 . And those who , when great wrong is done to them , defend themselves ,

42.39. Waallatheena itha asabahumu albaghyu hum yantasiroona

42.39. se defienden cuando son víctimas de opresión.

42.40.وَجَزَاء سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ

42.40 . The guerdon of an ill deed is an ill the like thereof . But whosoever pardoneth and amendeth , his wage is the affair of Allah . Lo! He loveth not wrong doers .

42.40. Wajazao sayyi-atin sayyi-atun mithluha faman AAafa waaslaha faajruhu AAala Allahi innahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena

42.40. Una mala acción será retribuida con una pena igual, pero quien perdone y se reconcilie recibirá su recompensa de Alá. Él no ama a los impíos.
