18.16.وَإِذِ اعْتَزَلْتُمُوهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَأْوُوا إِلَى الْكَهْفِ يَنشُرْ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّن رَّحمته ويُهَيِّئْ لَكُم مِّنْ أَمْرِكُم مِّرْفَقاً

18.16 . And when ye withdraw from them and that which they worship except Allah , then seek refuge in the Cave ; your Lord will spread for you of His mercy and will prepare for you a pillow in your plight .

18.16. Wa-ithi iAAtazaltumoohum wama yaAAbudoona illa Allaha fa/woo ila alkahfi yanshur lakum rabbukum min rahmatihi wayuhayyi/ lakum min amrikum mirfaqan

18.16. " Cuando os hayáis alejado de ellos y de lo que, en lugar de Dios, sirven, ¡refugiaos en la caverna! Vuestro Señor extenderá, sobre vosotros algo de Su misericordia y dispondrá de la mejor manera de vuestra suerte"". "

18.17.وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيّاً مُّرْشِداً

18.17 . And thou mightest have seen the sun when it rose move away from their cave to the right , and when it set go past them on the left , and they were in the cleft thereof . That was ( one ) of the portents of Allah . He whom Allah guideth , he indeed is led aright , and he whom He sendeth astray , for him thou wilt not find a guiding friend .

18.17. Watara alshshamsa itha talaAAat tazawaru AAan kahfihim thata alyameeni wa-itha gharabat taqriduhum thata alshshimali wahum fee fajwatin minhu thalika min ayati Allahi man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadi waman yudlil falan tajida lahu waliyyan murshidan

18.17. Habrías visto que el sol, al salir, se desviaba de su caverna hacia la derecha y, al ponerse, los rebasaba hacia la izquierda, mientras ellos estaban en una oquedad de ella. Ése es uno de los signos de Alá. Aquél a quien Alá dirige está bien dirigido, pero para aquél a quien Él extravía no encontrarás amigo que le guíe.

18.18.وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظاً وَهُمْ رُقُودٌ وَنُقَلِّبُهُمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَكَلْبُهُم بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ بِالْوَصِيدِ لَوِ اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّيْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَاراً وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْباً

18.18 . And thou wouldst have deemed them waking thou they were asleep , and we caused them to turn over to the right and the left , and their dog stretching out his paws on the threshold . If thou hadst observed them closely thou hadst assuredly turned away from them in flight , and hadst been filled with awe of them .

18.18. Watahsabuhum ayqathan wahum ruqoodun wanuqallibuhum thata alyameeni wathata alshshimali wakalbuhum basitun thiraAAayhi bialwaseedi lawi ittalaAAta AAalayhim lawallayta minhum firaran walamuli/ta minhum ruAAban

18.18. Les hubieras creído despiertos cuando, en realidad, dormían. Les dábamos vuelta a derecha e izquierda, mientras su perro estaba en el umbral con las patas delanteras extendidas. Si les hubieras visto, te habrías escapado de ellos, lleno de miedo.

18.19.وَكَذَلِكَ بَعَثْنَاهُمْ لِيَتَسَاءلُوا بَيْنَهُمْ قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْماً أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ قَالُوا رَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثْتُمْ فَابْعَثُوا أَحَدَكُم بِوَرِقِكُمْ هَذِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَنظُرْ أَيُّهَا أَزْكَى طَعَاماً فَلْيَأْتِكُم بِرِزْقٍ مِّنْهُ وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ وَلَا يُشْعِرَنَّ بِكُمْ أَحَداً

18.19 . And in like manner We awakened them that they might question one another . A speaker from among them said : How long have ye tarried? They said : We have tarried a day or some part of a day , ( Others ) said : Your Lord best knoweth what ye have tarried . Now send one of you with this your silver coin unto the city , and let him see what food is purest there and bring you a supply thereof . Let him be courteous and let no man know of you .

18.19. Wakathalika baAAathnahum liyatasaaloo baynahum qala qa-ilun minhum kam labithtum qaloo labithna yawman aw baAAda yawmin qaloo rabbukum aAAlamu bima labithtum faibAAathoo ahadakum biwariqikum hathihi ila almadeenati falyanthur ayyuha azka taAAaman falya/tikum birizqin minhu walyatalattaf wala yushAAiranna bikum ahadan

18.19. " Así estaban cuando les despertamos para que se preguntaran unos a otros. Uno de ellos dijo: ""¿Cuánto tiempo habéis permanecido?"" Dijeron: ""Permanecimos un día o menos"". Dijeron: ""Vuestro Señor sabe bien cuánto tiempo habéis permanecido. Enviad a uno de vosotros con esta vuestra moneda a la ciudad. Que mire quién tiene el alimento más fresco y que os traiga provisión del mismo. Que se conduzca bien y que no atraiga la atención de nadie sobre vosotros, "

18.20.إِنَّهُمْ إِن يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَن تُفْلِحُوا إِذاً أَبَداً

18.20 . For they , if they should come to know of you , will stone you or turn you back to their religion ; then ye will never prosper .

18.20. Innahum in yathharoo AAalaykum yarjumookum aw yuAAeedookum fee millatihim walan tuflihoo ithan abadan

18.20. " pues, si se enteraran de vuestra existencia, os lapidarían u os harían volver a su religión y nunca más seríais felices"". "
