73.16.فَعَصَى فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذاً وَبِيلاً

73.16 . But Pharaoh rebelled against the messenger , whereupon We sealed him with no gentle grip .

73.16. FaAAasa firAAawnu alrrasoola faakhathnahu akhthan wabeelan

73.16. Faraón desobedeció al enviado y le sorprendimos duramente.

73.17.فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْماً يَجْعَلُ الْوِلْدَانَ شِيباً

73.17 . Then how , if ye disbelieve , will ye protect yourselves upon the day which will turn children grey ,

73.17. Fakayfa tattaqoona in kafartum yawman yajAAalu alwildana sheeban

73.17. Si no creéis, ¿cómo vais a libraros de un día que hará encanecer a los niños?

73.18.السَّمَاء مُنفَطِرٌ بِهِ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولاً

73.18 . The very heaven being then rent asunder . His promise is to be fulfilled .

73.18. Alssamao munfatirun bihi kana waAAduhu mafAAoolan

73.18. El cielo se entreabrirá. Se cumplirá Su promesa.

73.19.إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاء اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلاً

73.19 . Lo! This is a Reminder . Let him who will , then , choose a way unto his Lord .

73.19. Inna hathihi tathkiratun faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi sabeelan

73.19. Esto es un Recuerdo. El que quiera ¡que emprenda camino hacia su Señor!

73.20.إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْراً وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْراً وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

73.20 . Lo! thy Lord knoweth how thou keepest vigil sometimes nearly two thirds of the night , or ( sometimes ) half or a third thereof , as do a party of those with thee . Allah measureth the night and the day . He knoweth that ye count it not , and turneth unto you in mercy . Recite , then , of the Quran that which is easy for you . He knoweth that there are sick folk among you , while others travel in the land in search of Allah ' s bounty , and others ( still ) are fighting for the cause of Allah . So recite of it that which is easy ( for you ) , and establish worship and pay the poor due and ( so ) lend unto Allah a goodly loan . Whatsoever good ye send before you far your souls , ye will surely find it with Allah , better and greater in the recompense . And seek forgiveness of Allah . Lo! Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .

73.20. Inna rabbaka yaAAlamu annaka taqoomu adna min thuluthayi allayli wanisfahu wathuluthahu wata-ifatun mina allatheena maAAaka waAllahu yuqaddiru allayla waalnnahara AAalima an lan tuhsoohu fataba AAalaykum faiqraoo ma tayassara mina alqur-ani AAalima an sayakoonu minkum marda waakharoona yadriboona fee al-ardi yabtaghoona min fadli Allahi waakharoona yuqatiloona fee sabeeli Allahi faiqraoo ma tayassara minhu waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waaqridoo Allaha qardan hasanan wama tuqaddimoo li-anfusikum min khayrin tajidoohu AAinda Allahi huwa khayran waaAAthama ajran waistaghfiroo Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

73.20. Tu Señor sabe que pasas en oración casi dos tercios de la noche, la mitad o un tercio de la misma, y lo mismo algunos de los que están contigo. Alá determina la noche y el día. Sabe que no vais a contarlo con exactitud y os perdona. ¡Recitad, pues, lo que buenamente podáis del Corán ! Sabe que entre vosotros habrá unos enfermos, otros de viaje por la tierra buscando el favor de Alá, otros combatiendo por Alá, ¡Recitad, pues, lo que buenamente podáis de él! ¡Haced la azalá! ¡Dad el azaque! ¡Haced un préstamo generoso a Alá! El bien que hagáis como anticipo para vosotros mismos, volveréis a encontrarlo junto a Alá como bien mejor y como recompensa mayor. ¡Y pedid el perdón de Alá! Alá es indulgente, misericordioso.
