50.36.وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشاً فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ

50.36 . And how many a generation We destroyed before them , who were mightier than these in prowess so that they overran the lands! Had they any place of refuge ( when the judgment came ) ?

50.36. Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu minhum batshan fanaqqaboo fee albiladi hal min maheesin

50.36. ¡A cuántas generaciones hemos hecho antes perecer, más temibles que ellos y que recorrieron el país en busca de escape.

50.37.إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ

50.37 . Lo! therein verily is a reminder for him who hath a heart , or giveth ear with full intelligence . .

50.37. Inna fee thalika lathikra liman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa alssamAAa wahuwa shaheedun

50.37. Hay en ello, sí, una amonestación para quien tiene entendimiento, para quien aguza el oído y es testigo.

50.38.وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ

50.38 . And verily We created the heavens and the earth , and all that is between them , in six days , and naught of weariness touched Us .

50.38. Walaqad khalaqna alssamawati waal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin wama massana min lughoobin

50.38. Creamos los cielos, la tierra y lo que entre ellos está en seis días, sin sufrir cansancio.

50.39.فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ

50.39 . Therefor ( O Muhammad ) bear with what they say : and hymn the praise of thy Lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun ;

50.39. Faisbir AAala ma yaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAi alshshamsi waqabla alghuroobi

50.39. ¡Ten paciencia, pues, con lo que dicen y celebra las alabanzas de tu Señor antes de la salida del sol y de su puesta!

50.40.وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ

50.40 . And in the night time hymn His praise : And after the ( prescribed ) prostrations .

50.40. Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waadbara alssujoodi

50.40. ¡Glorifícale durante la noche y después de la azalá!
